This was brought up by Joe Girardi that he and his players suspected that the Jays batters were receiving signs for a man in the outfield seats since 2010. The statistics showed an increase in Jays averages, slugging % and HR at home in 2010 and 2011 with the later year less dramatic. What was supposedly seen is a man wearing all white sitting in the center field seats relaying signs to batters if it was going to be a fast ball or some sort of off speed pitch.

MY take on the whole statistics findings makes me laugh. In 2010 we had the most prolific HR hitter in the league plus Adam Lind. Most teams hit better at home so to me the statistics are pretty meaningless in this whole issue of getting signs.
