4 Giants to the All-Star game

3 Starters as well! Posey, Sandoval, and Cabrera will all start the 2012 All-Star game.. Mr. Perfect Matt Cain will be pitching.. not starting, but a pitcher.

I dont see how Posey made it as a starter. Congrats to them, though.

Wait a minute....Sandoval!? What about David Wright? Wow....lol

Sandoval won by a million something votes over Wright.

Buster Posey is a stud. He deserves this all-star game more then any other catcher. He is batting .303, 10HR's. Not to mention that, but as a catcher, he is a freak of nature. He plays the game hard. On Cains perfect game, Cain didn't shake of ONE of Poseys pitches, and Posey was the one calling the pitches.. not Bochy.

For Sandoval, he also deserves what he got. His defense is unbelievable.. .310 BA, 6 HR's.

I think the real reason these two got picked is because of their ability to bounce back from their possible career ending injuries. Sandoval with his nasty wrist injury, and Posey with the broken leg.

That's so BS. Ruiz and Molina are WAY Better than Posey.

Buster Posey: .303/.370/.480 10 HR 42 RBI
Yadier Molina:.312/.364/.519 13 HR 45 RBI
Carlos Ruiz: .356/.420/.579 11 HR 43 RBI

Pablo Sandoval: .300/.362/.471 6 HR 25 RBI
David Wright: .354/.447/.560 9 HR 50 RBI

Cut the bull**** homer-ism. I can even admit that Paul Konerko deserves to be starting over Prince Fielder for the AL. Posey and Sandoval have NO BUSINESS starting for the NL. Just goes to prove how crappy the All Star voting is. It's just a popularity contest. Half the time the right players never make the starting nine.

That line about Posey deserves to be there more than anyone else made me chuckle. Molina and Ruiz are having WAY better seasons than him.

I can't disagree with that.. buuuuttt, it's the fans choices.. and I think the reason he got to start was because the people who voted for him were so happy that this young star was able to bounce back from a possible career ending injury.

No. He got voted in because he's popular. Not because he bounced back or whatever, lol. Just like Kemp being a starter. He got voted in because he's popular, and people failed to realize that he hasn't played since god knows how long. Don't get me wrong, Kemp is an awesome player, but he has missed a lot of the first half of the season. CarGo should have his starting spot.

I made a rant video about this on YouTube. Lets just say there weren't many happy Yankee fans.

I agree, I think anybody other the Granderson would be better.. but I'm still believing the reason Posey got to start was because of his capability to come back from the nasty injury. Everybody loves Posey.
