Pierce to remain a Celtic for five years?

Paul Pierce stated in a recent interview that he will remain on the Celtics for the next five years.

Asked about the future prospects of the team, Pierce replied, "I will play there for the next five years and I hope to win each year, or at least as much as possible." That comment was in the same interview that he called himself the best player in the world, so it should be taken with a grain of salt. Pierce is clearly riding high after winning the championship, and Celtics fans have to be pleased with his eagerness to remain in Boston

I disagree. I am not sure if he even cracks the top ten. He is good, but as a player you are suppose to let others say that. Not you.

Kobe Bryant is the best player in the world. Period. You wanna discuss this feel free.

As for the celtics, there finished. This will be their last strong year then the old guys will retire. The big 3 have their rings, they wont be hungry this season. Watch out for my lakers, kobe has revenge in mind, and with bynum in the lineup we look good. Also the rockets should be interesting to watch with yao, t-mac and ron artest.

Well he's kind of had it in me ever since i accidentally ran over his dog. Actually, replace "accidentally" with "repeatedly" and replace "dog" with "son".

I doubt the Celtics are going to go back to the Finals again anytime soon. i would have to agree that the Lake Show is the team to beat.
