Conflicting reports on Favre's intentions
After ESPN's Ed Werder reported Saturday morning that Brett Favre is leaning against accepting the Packers $25 million offer, NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that Favre plans to accept the offer and retire for good.
Schefter points out the obvious, that the decision is not final. Meanwhile, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that Commissioner Goodell wants a resolution by the end of the day Saturday, and the Packers are hoping Favre doesn't report to camp on Sunday. Favre's family members, though, are urging him to go to camp. If no agreement is reached this weekend, the Commissioner plans to act on the reinstatement by Monday.
