This thread is open for discussion on the 2008-2009 NBA season.

The Cavs, Celtics, and Lakers are doing great right now. The way I see it, one of those three will be Champs.

I'll probably make a vbookie for this at the playoffs so people can make some credits.

what about the MVP race? i see Kobe winning it again.

The way he's playing right now, I can definitely see that coming. But I think Lebron is going to give him a good run at it.

No question the best player in the league is Kobe.. We all know the clear cut teams (Lakers, Cavs, Celtics).. I think Orlando wasnt mentioned which I could see why but they are doin great this year.. I love rooting on Deron Williams with the Jazz (I'm an Illini fan) and he's just an amazing player that doesnt get a lot of hype for some reason like Chris Paul.. Granted Chris Paul is a stud but Deron is a stud too lol

Yeah, there are definitely other teams that are doing great right now. I just took the easy way out and predicted that one of those three would win lol. I may ended up being wrong.

Finals this year are going to be tight. I got lakers and celtics in the finals. LeBron can't beat the celtics in a 7 game series.

And rookie of the year has to be Derrick Rose (Bulls). The guy is a beast already. I gotta get his jersey.

I don't think there would be any surprises this season. I think it's going to be an obvious playoff but an exciting one as well.
