This game is pretty tight so far, too bad I can't watch it. I'm at work right now and I can't watch the game because I'm busy. Mets down by a run at the top of the 5th.

Man, Glavine has been brutal. What happen? I see he is out of the game already.

Man, Glavine is still struggling. He is in a really bad rut.

Hopefully the offense can step up here and score some more runs so this is a game again.

We tried to make a comeback but Beltran popped up to end the game. We lose this ball game by the final score of 11-8.

Glavine has killed us and today , he had a chance to pitch with 3 seperate leads.

again mets could not hit with runners in scoring position.

Thumbs down

Mets:

The Mets continued to run at will on catcher Jorge Posada and the Yankees, stealing five bases, and home runs by Ruben Gotay and Ramon Castro helped hand Tom Glavine three leads, but the lefty couldn't put an end to his maddening losing streak. Carlos Beltran popped out as the go-ahead run to end it.
Yankees:
Quote:
Put in an early hole by Tyler Clippard's second straight shaky start, the Yankees reeled off two runs in five straight innings, thanks to homers by Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter, who notched his first four-hit game of the season. Luis Vizcaino pitched 1 2/3 shutout innings before a 40-minute rain delay and earned the win.

beltran has really been slumping bad lately. glavine is terrible. i starting to wonder if we will even get 300 this season. i like how they keep running on posada and the yankees pitchers. reyes is gunna break cedeno's record this season easily.
