I can't believe we got swept, after having a lead once again. Ugh! Our bullpen has let us down lately.

Thumbs down

Mets:
Quote:
In the sixth inning, the Mets did something they hadn't done in 17 years -- hit back-to-back-to-back homers. But despite the power surge courtesy of Carlos Delgado, David Wright and Paul Lo Duca, the Mets were swept for the first time this year after a rare blown save by Billy Wagner.
Phillies:
Quote:
The Phillies exacted a measure of revenge on the Mets after a disputed home run had seemingly put the hosts in line for the victory. But in the top of the ninth, Pat Burrell took ex-teammate Billy Wagner deep to tie the score, then Burrell put the game out of reach with an RBI double in the 10th.

its still the bats letting the team down only 3-25 with runners in scoring position this series.

Starting pitching has been great.
