Damn we can never beat Barry Zito, and Glavine can't seem to get to 300 quick enough. We lose by the final score of 3-0.

Thumbs down

Mets:
Quote:
Tom Glavine allowed three runs in seven frames, but the Mets suffered their first shutout of '07. Paul Lo Duca had two of the team's six hits, including a seventh-inning double that marked his 1,000th career hit. Guillermo Mota debuted with two shutout frames.
Giants:
Quote:
Barry Zito tossed seven dominant innings, combining with two relievers on a six-hit shutout that snapped the Giants' four-game skid. Rich Aurilia backed Zito with four hits, while Pedro Feliz drove in all three runs.

Damnit, Beltran collided with Aurilia at first base, and he apparently hurt his knee. I hope it's nothing serious, but that's all we need is injuries to key players. Ugh!
