Ramirez Does Not Like Marlins Rules

Why was Hanley Ramirez so upset about the Marlins' new edicts (no jewelry in games, no long hair)? Largely because the chain he has worn for years has religious connotations, Ramirez said. ''And it's not like my hair was hanging down below my [butt]!'' Word is Marlins management made no concessions in a private meeting -- they told him every company has rules -- but Ramirez agreed to go along with it.

It's a pretty silly rule considering that a lot of the players wear jewelry and things like that. But it's still a rule, and he has to follow it.
