Lackey goes four brilliant innings, as though he'd never sleepwalked through his 2003 and 2004, and then does a pratfall in the fifth, the only thing missing being the "Live, From New York, It's Saturday Night!" intro. I mean, really, is it better that he can't get out the third batter in every inning, or that he choke in the fifth to make up for four good ones?
The Angels actually hit a few balls, 12 in all.
