Angles Albert Pujols Leaves with Tight Calf

Quote:

BOSTON -- First baseman Albert Pujols left the Los Angeles Angels' 7-3 win over the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday night with tightness in his right calf.

Pujols doubled in the fourth inning and pulled up running between second and third on Kendrys Morales' grounder to shortstop before slowly going into the third-base bag.

Pujols told the Los Angeles Times that his right calf is "pretty sore." Pujols will have an MRI on Thursday, and hopes to miss no more than one or two games, the Times reported.

Hopefully the MRI will show nothing. Hope he didn't tear something.

We really need him. Especially now that our season is on life support.

The Angels need there pitching to step it up a bit. They have good pitchers. WTH is going on in Halo Country?

That's what everyone is wondering. Our rotation looks scary on paper, but the only pitcher that is having a great season is Jered Weaver. No surprise there.

CJ Wilson was awesome the first half of the season. He's been terrible ever since the All Star break.

I don't know what's up with Dan Haren. He's been terrible.

Ervin Santana was horrible but is slowly starting to turn things around

Zack Grienke hasnt been terrible, but he hasn't been good either. I'm not worried about him, though.

Also, no lead is safe with our bullpen.
