Hey I coach around 40 kids and itís a bit of a hassle try to keep track of the attendance all the time and reminding parents of games, training ect. Has anyone come across any good management websites or tools that help with this sort of thing?

I would suggest getting more coaches and separating 10 kids with a coach. That way it will be easier to practice a certain thing and more organized.

Sorry I should have been clearer. I coach 40 children overall not at the same time. I was wondering if there was a app or program or something that would make the organization of these teams easier. Thank you for the reply however.

Hi, you could try Sportlyzer. It is a sports team management software that also includes availability and attendance tracking and team messaging.

Sportlyzer has a calendar function that allows you to create training plans and share these with players and their parents. In case you need to know which players will come to training session or to competition you can just send out e-mails where players can mark with one click, whether they are coming or not.

You can use the attendance tracking feature on the go with phone or tablet. Apps are available for iOS and Android. Afterwards you can access attendance statistics for both team and individual.

In case you have to contact with players or their parents, Sportlyzer allows you to send emails and SMS to the whole team or to individual players.

You can try it for free. Search Google for Sportlyzer and look up our website.

You may also consider PlaySportsTV Baseball: Instructional Videos for Coaching Youth Baseball
and https://coachtube.com/courses/baseball. I have found these to be pretty cool sites to coach my kids online.

My company is launching an iPhone app called Coached, which allows baseball players to get one-on-one instruction from current Big League hitting and pitching coaches.

Weíre talking guys like Omar Vizquel, Wally Joyner, World Champions Dale Sveum and Dave Eiland, and more...

How does this work? Parents simply send video(s) of their ballplayerís swing or pitch to their favorite coach on the app. The coach replies with a voice narrated, frame-by-frame breakdown of the original video, giving feedback on areas that need improvement. Players can typically expect feedback in less than 72 hours.

Check this out and let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Will

I've been looking around for swing training aids for my son. I saw a particularly interesting product called the 3S hitting system. Has anyone ever heard of it or tired it out?
