Check this out

Go to youtube and search flyball 500. I was skeptical myself, but my friend from Ohio bought one and swore by it. I got one and took it down to our park and tried it out. I'm 41 years old and can barely touch 60 with a fastball, but I can THROW towering fly balls over a 260' fence with this thing. You can stand an outfielder 180-200' away and throw major league fly balls within 5' of him every time. I threw well over 200 balls in the past hour or so and can't really feel it at all in my arm. For coaches trying to teach younger kids how to catch a fly ball this thing is unreal. You can also throw pinpoint grounders with no trouble. Every youth coach should have one!

I watched a few videos and it does seem like a good training device. The hardest thing for many kids to learn is how to judge and adjust to the parabola of a fly ball. My only question is whether or not it uses a regulation baseball, or if it uses a special ball.

I decided to email this question to the company and received a quick reply:

"The Flyball 500 is specifically designed for a regulation sized baseball. It is however packaged with a rubber baseball for safety reasons."

As someone who manages to hit a good flyball maybe 1 out of every 5 tries, I might grab one of these for my fall ball team. They're relatively inexpensive too. Here's the website: Flyball 500

I just bought one. I'll post a review in a week or so.

Okay, I have to say that I was just a little doubtful about this product at first, but it has exceeded all of my expectations. The first time I used it, I put a ball over the center field fence. It actually requires very little practice to become proficient and my kid loved chasing down fly ball after fly ball instead of grounder, miss, line drive, etc., off of my bat. I only wish I had bought two. The manager of the team that I help coach saw it in my ball bucket. After a quick demo, he was firing balls to a group of kids in the outfield, while another group of kids waited for a turn to try it out. Highly recommended.

Hello. I'm not a baseball fan. I cannot say that I am fascinated by this game so much that I will look for Latest Tech News to make the game even more exciting and interesting. Guys, why do you like baseball? Which team do you support? Tell me about your preferences, maybe my opinion will change, and I will also love this sport, what do you think? By the way, what do you think about this 4Pro Media site? What news are you interested in? Share your impressions. Thank you all in advance.
