Do you need a deep bench if you have solid "pitching, defense, and speed"?
I guess I wouldn't be as concerned about having a bench if we had those 3 things. As it is though we have no pitching and (what would you guys estimate) "average" defense and speed.

Hopefully things will shape up as the next few months come along but right now I'm just not feeling all that confident in what is going on. We have no closer, no bench and an unproven centerfielder.

I will say though, it will be exciting to see a Willy T type running the bases again (and CB and Pence following on the base paths). It will add a new dimension and excitement to the game, hopefully.

Houston here.

LOL, it won't even get ya to watch football, aye? Not a big fan of the Texans?

Any tips on what to look for in an HDTV?

I read in an article that he was somewhat of a fan favorite. I think those speedy types generally are. I wonder if you ask them whether they'd want Bourn or Rowand in their outfield, what would they say?

Isn't it funny how Z keeps on stating that she is single when in fact she is married to the Astros. Is she trying to cheat on the Stros or what!

Being married to the Astros is probably why I'm still single.

And wouldn't you think a guy would be interested in a woman that loves baseball? I don't want jewelry -- just season tickets!!

Ok. Now that Lidge is gone, time to start lusting after Burke's tushy. He's got a nice one. Man, can't wait to see more of that next year. He's my favorite. I hope the Astros keep that pop tart.
