Tigers Valverde speaks too fast

Jose Valverde spoke up and said that the Tigers were going to end the series in Detroit after splitting the games in the Bronx. He may have to eat those words as they head back to New York for tomorrows game.

Yeah don't remind me. Damn you Papa Grande. On a high note he won the reliever of the year award. YAY!

He did deserve that award. I hope Axford gets it for the NL.

He was damn good this year. I don't think he had more saves than Kimbrel though.

I think he ended in the 40 save range. I know he broke the record for Brewers saves in a year.

Axford has 46 saves, Kimbrel has 46. Hmm, I wonder who had more blown saves.

I know Axford had a few blown saves early in the year.

I know Kimbrel has at least three. I see it going to Axford because they Brew-Crew made the playoffs.

If the Tigers go on to win this series, nobody will care about him saying this. But if they lose, it's all you'll hear about.
