Nats Nationals @ NY Mets

The Nationals head into New York only 3.5 games behind the Mets for 3rd in the N.L. East. They will play a 4 game series.

Pitching Match Ups

Detwiler vs. Dickey
Wang vs. Gee
Milone vs. Pelfrey
Lannan vs. Capuano

I'd like to see the Nationals continue there hot hitting from the last game of the Astros series where Desmond, Espinosa, and Zimmerman all went deep. I am predicting a 3 win series for the Nationals.

Since the Mets are my NL team, I have no faith left in them. Their rotation sucks, inconsistent offense, terrible bullpen. Just let this year be over-with.

The Nationals take game 1 against the Mets tonight and inch 1 game closer to 3rd place in the National League East division. Ross Detwiler was great through 5.2 innings and the bullpen shut down the Mets the rest of the way to hold onto a 3-2 lead for the win.

The Nationals are only 1 game behind the Mets in the standings after another 3-2 victory last night.

Nationals get a great 5 innings from Peacock and the bullpen continues to pitch well giving the Nationals a 2-0 win tonight. This puts the Nationals in a 3rd place tie with the Mets with a tomorrow afternoon game.

A sweep of the Mets with a 10-1 victory today. This puts the Nationals all alone in 3rd place in the division.
