Young and Fielder Homer, Detroit Tigers Win 5-2

The Detroit Tigers were looking to end their nine game home stand with a win over the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers are coming off a series victory against the Toronto Blue Jays, and were one win away from taking another series on the home stand.
Max Scherzer was on the hill for the Tigers, looking to continue his good pitching. In the month of August Scherzer has a 2.52 ERA, and has a 5-1 record with a 3.40 ERA since the All Star break.
