It was a great bounce back win for the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday night. Coming off a 9-3 blowout loss the night prior to the Minnesota Twins.

The Tigers’ offense wasted no time bouncing back. The Twins’ outfielders were diving all over the field early trying to get deep fly balls off the Tigers’ bats. Austin Jackson and Omar Infante led of the game with a pair of singles. After a Prince Fielder ground out that moved the runners up, Jhonny Peralta drove them both in with a double.

Gerald Laird in the second second inning tripled because of a diving Darin Mastroianni, missed the ball. Jackson followed up the Laird triple with a double of his own. Putting the Tigers up 4-0 quickly.

The Twins would tie the game in the third, thanks in part to some spotty defense by Infante and Fielder. Josh Willingham hit a three run home run to tie the game, off Doug Fister.
