The Rockies, who have made a tradition of avoiding protracted arbitration battles, have reached a quick agreement with right-handed reliever Huston Street.
Street was one of six Rockies to file for arbitration Thursday. By Monday, he had avoided arbitration with a one-year, $4.5 million contact, according to various reports. The Rockies acquired Street from the Athletics in the offseason trade that sent outfielder Matt Holliday to Oakland.
