Volquez penciled in to start Tuesday

Manager Dusty Baker said Edinson Volquez is tentatively scheduled to start against the Cubs on Tuesday.
Baker said the decision is not official, but he has been impressed with how Volquez has thrown in two starts at Triple-A Louisville. Volquez is 1-0 with a 1.88 ERA with the Bats, walking six and striking out seven in 14 1/3 innings.
If Volquez starts Tuesday, Baker said he will probably move Mike Leake's start to Monday. Chad Reineke, who made his debut with the Reds last Tuesday, is currently scheduled to throw on Monday. Reineke allowed six runs (five earned) on five hits in 6 1/3 innings in a loss against the Brewers.Homer Bailey, meanwhile, extended his long toss program to 230 feet on Saturday. He plans to throw a side session either Sunday or Monday.
Bailey was placed on the disabled list with a sprained posterior capsule in his right shoulder on May 27.

I hate this, just so everyone knows. I think he should be in the minors for another month, but the rotation is struggling so much, we are forcing him back up into the rotation. If he gets hit hard in his first start back, I'm going to claim myself an oracle. Also, if the Cubs only score 2-4 runs because they are the Cubs, I don't think that's a success.
