C- Daivd Ross I am glad that Ross is the everyday catcher and that LaRue is gone even though we had to pay a very good portion of his contract to dump him. Ross is more than capable of putting up 240avg 20hrs 60rbis which is pretty good offensivly for a catcher.
1B vs LHP- Jeff Conine is a crafty vet who has a good attitude and brings some leadership to the team. He had a great game vs the Pirates in which he had a 3 run home run and a triple. Jeff has had a very career vs LHP and with him and Scott Hatteberg platooning I feel ok with our 1B situation tell Joey Votto is ready to take over.
1B vs RHP- Scott Hatteberg is one of the best guys for a team to have. He doesnt worry about himself first and puts the team ahead of him. He is solid on D and a vet who brings more leadership to guys like Phillips and Encarnocion. Hatte had a good year and I am glad he is back to take on RHP.
2B- Brandon Phillips is finally living up to the talent he had when the Indians traded Bartolo Colon for him and Sizemore. The thing that makes Phillips look so much better is that we traded basicly nothing for him. I see 280avg 20hrs 80rbis and 20sbs with gold glove defense at 2B.
SS- Alex Gonzolez is a very good defensive SS. I know a lot of people wasnt happy for signing a more expensive "Juan Castro" but I was and I still am. Alex has been able to hit 15hrs and in GABP he should have no problem hitting 15 if not more. He still wont hit for average but I would be happy with 250 or 260 from him. He was brought here for his defense and he will also teach Brandon Phillips a lot. I also like his emotion and hustle that I have saw so far.
3B- Edwin Encarnocion is going to be a All Star in the future count my word on it. He shows the talent to hit 300 with 20hrs and 100rbis and I also think if he can just get some more arm stregth he will become a gold glove 3B.
LF- Adam Dunn is skinner and in the "best" shape of his life. I cant wait to see what he does this year and I think he is going to have a much better year. 260avg 50hrs 100rbis and average defense and I am a happy man and will endorse the Reds giving Adam a new contract.
CF- Ryan Freel is the current starting CF but he is a hustle player and they dont tend to age well. Once his speed is gone Ryan is utterly useless because even when hustling he wont be able to cut it. I also dont like how many chances he takes and I can see him diving for the ball and missing it with it rolling to the wall many times. Dont get me wrong I love Ryan Freel but I like him a lot more as a Super Sub. I honestly think if Josh Hamilton shows he can hit at all during the season he should become the starting CF for his speed and defense alone.
RF- Ken Griffey J.R. finally made the move to RF. This was the best move for him and the team wheather he wants to admit it or not. He will stay healthier which means his production should go up. Griff needs to just go out and play and try to finish his career as a Red on a high note. I couldnt imagine Griff being here after 08.
AAron Harrang- He is becoming a true ace
Bronson Arroyo- A very good option at number 2
Kyle Lohse- Has all the talent in the world but will he use it.
Matt Belisle- Much like Lohse can he use all that talent *HEALTH*
Eric Milton- I dont see Milton sticking around on this team.
Mike Stanton- Dont like that he got 2yrs but solid
Rheal Cromire- He isnt the worst but wouldnt mind trading him.
*Bill Bray- When he comes back he needs to keep geting better.
*Gary Majewski- Needs to become the pitcher we think he can.
David Weathers- He does his job and I dont mind him
Victor Santos- I think if we leave him in the pen he will be fine
Kirk Sarrlos- Fits this park very nicely
Jered Burton- Has some massive talent but un proven
*Brad Salmon- I expect to see him on this team at one point
*Phil Dumatrait- I am a big fan and what a curveball I want him up
Eddie Guardado- If he can come back I expect a solid Reliver
JERRY NARRON- Dumbass who needs to be fired
CHAD MOLLER- LOSER LEAVE THE TEAM
Anyways Im tired so goodnight and lets get this board hoppin
