With the way pitchers are handled and only going 5 to 6 innings for most pitchers it will be hard for anyone in the near future or maybe even my lifetime to reach 300 wins.

Excellent point. But sometimes do not do that, such as the Dodgers, Giants.. 
I'm sure there's others, but those are the only ones I know of. Kershaw got his 15th win a couple nights ago and went 8 innings. 2 starts ago, Cain threw a gem for 8 innings. Could have gone 9.. buuuttt.. Idk

There are the exceptions like a Kershaw or Cain, but still they are far and few between.
