I"m sure I am right because when I was growing up I was always wishing it was summer time or Christmas time and my Mother always told me I was wishing my life away. Being young I didn't truly understand what she meant, but I do now

I read that the 1966 Orioles pitching coach was none other than one of the many Cardinal great pitchers of the 1940s, Harry "The Cat" Brecheen. Those Orioles from the late 1960s pretty much up into the early 1980s always seemed to have stellar pitching: Jim Palmer, Mike Cuellar, Dave McNally, Pat Dobson, Scott McGreggor, Mike Flanagan, Dennis Martinez, Mike Boddicker, etc.
