There is Definitely a Problem with Quoting on this Forum now?

I will look and the multi-quote button will look the it has been clicked, but I didn't do it? It even looked like it has been clicked on a post that I just did myself! This function was working perfectly until yesterday when I noticed that I couldn't get it to work. I do not have a problem with knowing how to do quotes so some thing is wrong! Please check on it and thank you very much

Every thread I go into now has the multi-quote button looking like it has been clicked on! Including this one!

Works perfectly. Make sure you hit the post reply button instead of quick reply.

Well he's kind of had it in me ever since i accidentally ran over his dog. Actually, replace "accidentally" with "repeatedly" and replace "dog" with "son".

And it was working perfectly for me. But now even as I post this the multi-quote looks like he has been clicked on, but I didn't click on it at all! I thought maybe something had gone wrong with just my usage some how, but MC said it had never worked for him either

O.K. I'm testing now following the advice to hit the post reply button. But my Multi-quote button still looks like it has been clicked on when it hasn't! It was not that way before. Something has happened, but I don't know what!

I think I know the nature of the problem. We have three buttons {quote, multi-quote and quick reply). When you press the multi-quote button it appears exactly the same as the other two. Now, if you open a page and don't click it, the button seems like it has been pressed.

You might be confused Dolly because when you press the button, it looks like the other two; hence you think nothing has been pressed.

Please attempt the following. I want you to scroll to the top of the thread, and hit the multi-quote button on the first three posts. After doing this, scroll to the bottom and select "post reply". Type anything underneath all the quotes and then submit.

Considering the feature works for many others, I am sure this problem isn't affecting the whole site. Hope this helps.
