Question How Do You Post An Article?

I just haven't managed to get it into my mind how you do this? I have hit quote to look at how the post of an article looks on the inside of it, if you will. But I still can't figure out how a poster gets it to look like that so it will print? This is something I really need to be able to do. I have posted Links, YouTubes, and Images before, but I have never ever posted an article in any Forum I have ever been on! And with Twitter in use here it is even more important that I learn how to do it.

You hit the quote button, then copy the text out of the article and paste it between the quote tags. Then put the link in your post and hit submit.

Hit I know you are trying to help me, but I feel like you are talking to me in another language. I just don't understand it at all right now! I know to you it is very simple to do. Because you have done it on this Forum and probably others as well. But I have never been on a Forum where you needed to print articles. MC tried to explain it in a thread. I thought I was following his explanation until the end of it. But I've been busy all morning trying to work on this and I'm just not getting anywhere with it at all!

BB Code is a relatively simple procedure. As previously mentioned, ensured the body of the article is inserted between the two quote tags, followed by the source reference (hyperlink) outside the two tags.

For example:

Quote:
You copy and paste the text here.
http://www.ebay.com URL tags are entered by pressing the globe icon, or you can do it the old fashioned way, id est;

(in tags; // in this case = square brackets [] )

//URL="http://www.google.com"You type what you want the users to see URL//

It is much easier pressing the insert link icon, but I'm old school with the BB code lmao.

Well he's kind of had it in me ever since i accidentally ran over his dog. Actually, replace "accidentally" with "repeatedly" and replace "dog" with "son".

Thanks for trying to explain But the whole thing just doesn't make any sense to me no matter who tries to explain it to me. I don't know why I can't understand it, but I don't So I guess I will have to leave the posting of articles to someone else. If I had someone to come and personally explain it and then show me how it was done I might could handle it then, but sadly I don't know anyone that could do that for me. Somehow I just don't seem to follow written instructions that well.

But I have to wait until you or someone else posts the article. It would be much nicer, if I could go ahead and do the article myself, but since I can't I will just have to wait on someone else to do it! I would mention a certain word here, but then the post would get deleted!

Hey Dolly,

Try posting an article from ESPN in this thread (doesn't matter which article it is). Just hit post reply and show me what you currently do. Even if you try and it's a complete mess, I can instruct you on how to do it properly. This way, it is a hands on method of learning, and by the end I PROMISE you will know how to post articles.

I insist on helping since I am very knowledgeable in the ICT area.

Remember, the copy paste text goes in between quote tags (which has the icon of a speech bubble) and the link is inserted via the globe icon.
