Dbacks Can the D-backs get to first?

The Diamondbacks are only three games out of first, what are they chances they take first from San Francisco? OR will they make it to the playoffs via Wild-Card?

I don't think they have enough starting pitching and also bullpen to contend with the Giants. If the Giants get beltran it could be looking at the wild card possibilities for the D-Backs.

Wild Card would be even much, I think the Braves got that one locked down.

I think they can, with the way they've played the ast few games. Justin Upton's finally living up too, if not exceeding, the hype. Also, the pitching this year's been solid, and now that Bauer's signed, it's possible he might be called up in September to solidify their run. And, Putz is back to help out the bullpen which has been decent already. If the Giants get Beltran, then it would definitely be a stretch to get the division. Wild Card would be tough, but I think they can pull it off

I would like to see it , but I doubt it will happen. The pitching will not hold up.

Well as I always say, If you don't think your team can win, why watch them at all?

True, I think the Jays can get into the race still. I will think that until they are officially eliminated.

Their pitching has not been bad, please stop saying that.

Their ranked 11th in the league in quality starts, 20th in ERA, 14th in WHIP and 18th in batting average.

That is pretty solid and are going to win ballgames with those stats. The only reason why I say they won win is, good pitching, which the Giants has most of the time beats good hitting. The Braves are going to win the Wild Card without a doubt

That's always true. It's definitely been a good season for us, even if we end up out of the playoffs. Going from last to second is quite a comeback. Kirk Gibson's done an awesome job to make them a contender. It would be even better with a trip to the playoffs.
