Man, we're 3-6 right now. We need to start playing better baseball.

If there is one guy I cannot stand on the team, it would be Eric Byrnes. He's just a very cocky guy who was never any good. And then he does those stupid flips after he throws the ball. Sure, I guess that would be funny if he was batting .300 and living up to that 30mil per 3 yr contract. But he's just an idiot. I wish we would just play Jackson-Young-Upton in the outfield everyday instead of slotting him in everyday.

End of Rant

I agree. He's a hate/love kind of guy. I think Byrnes is mainly there because he has seniority. Upton, Young, Jackson is the way to go everyday imo.

Yeah, Byrnes is doing a bit better as of late. But Parra pushed Byrnes back in the depth chart with Parra's impressive play. Parra just needs to work on hustling because there have been several cases when he doesn't run out a ground ball and not running to first base when the ball hits the dirt on a strikeout.

Yeah, it may not seem like much, but those kind of plays are very important in a professional baseball level. An example of this was in the Mets game when their young prospect, Fernando Martinez, hit a weak pop up to the mound, and instead of running, just stood there watching it. The catcher missed the popup, and because Martinez did not run, got the out anyway.

Nice! Justin Upton is in the top 15 at his position in the latest All-Star ballot update!

He definitely deserves it.

Upton has been solid this year. He and Haren both deserve to go to the all-star game.
