Newsday.com: Mets Spring Training Buzz
It's still early, but seeing David Wright hitting in the No. 2 hole for the second time was enough to raise a few questions after the Mets' 2-1 loss to the Indians at Tradition Field.
Manager Willie Randolph later explained that there was no deeper meaning to the lineup - other than to get Wright more at-bats - but he did say he could use Wright in that spot at some point during the season. Only Carlos Beltran (4.20) saw more pitches per at-bat than Wright (3.93) on the Mets last year, and that could give Jose Reyes more time to steal second base.
