A healthy Andrew Miller hoping for consistency

In the second half last season left-hander Andrew Miller totaled 12 professional innings, six of which came in a start for Triple-A New Orleans. A sprained ankle in his second game with the Zephyrs contributed to that, but by the time he got back to the majors in September Miller was in no-man's land.

The Marlins Get your Marlins Tickets now! didn't need him as a starter and he didn't have a role out of the bullpen. Miller hopes to have a markedly greater impact down the stretch in 2010.

Whether because of injury or non-performance, Miller has yet to take off since the Marlins acquired him from Detroit as one of the centerpieces in the Miguel Cabrera deal before the 2008 season.
