Diamondbacks third baseman Mark Reynolds, who totaled 24 bases on five doubles and three home runs, and Rockies closer Huston Street, perfect in five save opportunities, were named National League co-Players of the Week presented by Bank of America for the period through Sunday.

It is the first weekly honor for both.

Reynolds posted a slugging percentage of 1.000 while batting .417 with nine RBIs -- a career-most tying five of them in Friday night's 8-1 victory over the Houston Astros.

Street, reinserted as Colorado's closer when Jim Tracy was appointed as the team's manager on May 29, struck out eight in 4 2/3 innings. He posted wins in four consecutive games, Monday through Thursday, in helping the Rockies mount an ongoing 11-game winning streak.

Teammates of both award recipients also received consideration.

Arizona right-hander Dan Haren two-hit Houston in his only start of the week, and Colorado shortstop Troy Tulowitzki batted .421, with three homers.

Others drawing support included Dodgers right-hander Chad Billingsley (2-0); San Diego third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff (.375, 11 RBIs); the Giants' Matt Cain (2-0, 15 strikeouts); Cincinnati's Johnny Cueto (0.69 ERA for 13 innings); Houston's Lance Berkman (3 homers, including career No. 300); Casey McGehee (.563) of the Brewers; Pittsburgh rookie Andrew McCutchen (.323); Atlanta's Brian McCann (.435, 6 RBIs); Florida's Jeremy Hermida (.440, 3 HR, 6 RBIs); David Wright (.520) of the Mets; and Chase Utley (.370, 3 HR, 5 RBIs) of the Phillies.
