The Sacred game
In Japan the game of baseball is sacred. They take it very seriously down there. For instance it is disrespectful to spit on the field and so no one does it. No one chews and spits sunflower seeds either. Ichiro still uses some of the Japanese way on the field today. When he breaks the bat he goes and gives it a proper resting (not as wierd as it sounds) and he also won't let anybody use his bat, because he thinks (like Japanese) that, that bat was made for him and only him. He won't throw his bat when he runs down the base path or gets out, he sets it down. Also the big one in Japan is hustling on and off the field. You must sprint. Major leaguers usually jog or walk into the dugout. Not Japan they full fledge sprint into the dugout.
I'm going to Japan maybe this year and I definetly want to watch a Japan baseball game, because they play the game how it is meant to be played.
