Kearns appears to be getting hot at just the right time with the regular season opener less than a week away and if he can carry this into the beginning of the season the team may have a good first couple of weeks to start the season.

Seems like Jerome being announced to the rotation has really boosted his confidence and made him quite a bit better.

Honestly, im not expecting a whole lot from them. The rotation is just too bad for them to do much. I think the offense looks pretty good, at least average maybe better, and the defense looks pretty good too. But the rotation is just wayyyy too bad for them to do much. I wouldn't be surprised to see them with the first overrall pick next year. But hey, who knows the same type of stuff was said about the Marlins last year after there huge fire sale.

Yeah your right..there #1 pitcher is John Patterson who is injury prone but after that there is nobody!!! I am expecting an all-Star season out of Zimmerman though

Me too. He got fleeced out of the RoY last year and i think he will make up for it this year with even better power and average numbers and maybe even a Gold Glove, finally knocking Rolen off for it.

Yeah Rolen is getting old. If he stays healthly Zimmerman should get it

i can't argue with him not winning it last year because it is more of a veterans award, but, it seemed like everytime i turned on SportsCenter that i saw Zimmerman making an incredible, athletic play down the line or showing off his arm.
