Wells Written Message To Indian Fans
Quote:
When the Blue Jays visited Jacobs Field on May 2, a few Indians fans were getting on Toronto center fielder Vernon Wells. While most players ignore taunts, Wells
Jeff Raycher, 28, told the Toronto Sun that after Wells was done warming up before the sixth inning, he faked tossing a ball, then threw it into a different section.
"He got us there," Raycher said.
An inning later, Wells got them even better, tossing a ball to Raycher with a message.
"Dear Mr. Dork," the ball read. "Here is your ball! Can you please tell me what gas station you work at, so when you are pumping my gas, I can yell at you!!! Now sit down, shut up and enjoy the game!
"Your favorite center fielder"
Raycher said he stood up and read what was on the ball to the fans in his section.
"We were dying laughing," he said. "We're going to hang on to the ball for sure. It all was so much fun."
Raycher said he and his friends are planning to drive to Detroit for the Blue Jays' makeup game on Sept. 10.
"We're going to come up with something clever," he said.

That is hilarious...I would have paid to see their faces.
