Scouting Report:
Tigers: Durbin had an up-and-down outing in his first start of the season Monday against the Orioles. He gave up six runs on nine hits in 4 2/3 innings as the Orioles rolled to a 6-2 win over the Tigers in Baltimore's home opener. Durbin looked good at times and off at others. He struck out five and walked just one, but needed 82 pitches to get through his start. Durbin is filling in for Kenny Rogers, who will be out for the first part of the season after surgery. Blue Jays: Burnett wasn't at his sharpest, but the right-hander was nonetheless effective in his last start. On Monday, Burnett limited Kansas City to one run on three hits for his first win of the year. He recorded five strikeouts and escaped two bases-loaded jams, even though his curveball lacked its usual bite. Burnett will be making his second start of the year against the Tigers. On April 4, he gave up six runs in just two-plus innings of a loss to Detroit in an extrememly cold and windy road game.
