Well, Mr. Rogers may have second thoughts when the 2007 American League schedule is released Friday.
The New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox have always been the biggest draw in Toronto, going back to the days of Exhibition Stadium.
When they made two visits per season, each team would come into town for a mid-week series and a weekend set, which draws the largest crowds.
Yet in 2007, if you are a weekend watcher and come to the Rogers Centre only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, you will not see either the Yankees or the Red Sox.
All six trips -- three each by the Yanks and the Sox for a total of 18 games -- will be mid-week visits.
