TORONTO -- When the ball shot off Aaron Hill's bat, it rocketed into left field on a low trajectory that seemed destined to end at the wall. The last thing the Blue Jays infielder expected was for the baseball to clear the fence.
That's exactly what happened, though, and for the second time in three games, it was an unlikely blast from Hill that led Toronto to a win over Tampa Bay. This time, the 5-foot-11 Hill connected on a 1-0 pitch in the eighth inning, and he wound up with a two-run shot that propelled the Blue Jays to a 5-3 victory on Sunday at Rogers Centre.
"When you've got four home runs, you don't think any of them are going out," Hill said with a laugh. "You just keep running until you hear the crowd cheering."
