TORONTO -- As Toronto's season winds to a close, it's only natural to contemplate the upcoming contract issues. Ted Lilly's situation has already figured into the discussion -- given that the Blue Jays starter is eligible to become a free agent when the year is complete.
Lilly isn't about to delve into that topic quite yet.

"I imagine when the season is over I'll have time to think about what's going to happen in the future," said Lilly, after leading Toronto to a 6-1 win over Tampa Bay on Saturday at the Rogers Centre.

Curiously, though, Lilly did speak about Toronto's rotation as a whole in regards to the 2007 season. After the left-hander turned in six solid innings against the Devil Rays, Blue Jays manager John Gibbons raved about Lilly's consistency this year.
