SEATTLE -- Drawing from a bigger bank account may not necessarily mean the Jays are going to be spending more in all areas next year.
One particular segment of the team that might come in under budget -- compared with what the Jays spent in 2006 -- is the bullpen, even with B.J. Ryan in the fold.
Blue Jays general manager J.P. Ricciardi said this week he does not know when he will find out what his budget will be for 2007.
But that has not stopped him from kicking around the idea of going with a more youthful bullpen next season.
