As Blue Jay general manager J.P. Ricciardi was saying the other night, "People don't remember how you start, it's how you finish."

So, against the Angels out near Disneyland tonight, the Blue Jays will set about settling the first of their final 22 games in a season that, given such not too unreasonably high expectations, will likely be viewed a disappointment by a majority of the team's followers.

Only not by Ricciardi.
