Default Teixeira to be activated soon?

Quote:
ARLINGTON -- First baseman Mark Teixeira went through a strenuous running test before Sunday's game with the Baltimore and said he is "100 percent."

Teixeira, on the disabled list with a strained left quadriceps muscle, is expected to be activated on Friday when the Rangers open the second half against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Teixeira went on the disabled list on June 9 and was running without any problems early Sunday morning, working out under the supervision of Rangers strength and conditioning coach Jose Vazquez.

Great to see that Teixeira will be back soon and I felt that if he had been healty, he could have been an All-Star this year, along with Young, though I'd rather it have been Sosa. But either way, Teixeira coming back is only great news.
