It came as no surprise to me that Upton was kept in AAA when an infield roster spot opened up with the Devil Rays. Â*Upton will arrive when he is the everyday SS. Now is not that time. Cortez was rated as the Rays top defender so it makes sense to give him a cup of coffee. Not sure where he fits in the plans except as a utility player. Yes, Jorge Sosa is playing for a good team.
