With less than two weeks left in the first half, the Devil Rays have an outside shot at getting a playoff spot. They trail 2nd place Fort Wayne by 6 1/2 games, and need a great run to get the berth. At 26-30, there is still a reasonable chance to reach .500 and build something positive for the 2nd half, which begins on the 23rd with a 4 game series at CO Brown vs South Bend.
