Public visitation for Stan Musial set for Thursday

ST. LOUIS -- A public visitation for Stan Musial has been scheduled from 2-8 p.m. CT on Thursday at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis. Two days later, Musial will be remembered during a funeral mass at the same location.
That funeral service is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Saturday and will be followed by a funeral procession to Busch Stadium, where the family will place a wreath at the base of Musial's statue. That statue has already become a memorial site where fans have placed various items as a way to honor Musial's legacy as a Cardinal and member of the St. Louis community...
