Rumor: Glavine to Cardinals?

The Cardinals could be a possible destination for the recently released Tom Glavine, according to the Boston Globe.

St. Louis may be looking for pitching help after Kyle Lohse went on the DL and Glavine may prefer to stay in the National League.

The Globe says Glavine is thinking about retiring, but another part of him still wants to pitch because of all the work he's done rehabbing his left shoulder. A report Sunday said Glavine is planning to file a grievance against the Braves over his release.
