With baseball's annual Winter Meetings approaching, the Cardinals' brain trust has relatively few questions to answer. St. Louis' collection of position players may be set already, and the bullpen has depth on both sides.
The openings exist in the starting rotation, where general manager Walt Jocketty would like to add two more pitchers. Both may come via free agency, or St. Louis could make another Winter Meetings trade.
