Felix feels rusty in first couple starts back from DL....
GREAT to see Felix back but I must admit he did look a bit off his game at points during his start against the Padres.
Quote:
Hernandez's pitching line -- eight hits, three walks (one intentional), nine strikeouts and two earned runs -- doesn't look bad, but the 21-year-old still isn't looking like himself. He threw two wild pitches in one inning, was often behind and needed 103 pitches to get through five innings.
Even the strikeouts weren't a good sign, according to the right-hander.
"When I get strikeouts, it's a lot of pitches," Hernandez said. "I throw my two-seamer to try to get fast outs (on ground balls), but it's not happening, so there were a lot of strikeouts. Too many pitches."

"He was inconsistent with his command," Hargrove said. "The first inning he was fine, but after that, he struggled with his command. He left some balls up, pitched out of some jams, gave up two two-out RBI base hits. He didn't pitch as well as he can, but he pitched well enough to win."
