Aurilia Remembers Candlestick Park
Quote:
Aurilia recalls good, bad, ugly of 'Stick
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Some memorable and infamous elements (literally) of Giants baseball continue to recede further into the past, with only Rich Aurilia around to revive them.
With the departure of Barry Bonds, Aurilia is the lone remaining Giant to have played home games at Candlestick Park, the team's overly air-conditioned home from 1960-99. The only other players in camp to have appeared at Candlestick are relievers Steve Kline, who pitched seven games there, and Scott Williamson, who worked in two.
Their scant experiences don't count, Aurilia joked. "They didn't have to catch those popups," he said Saturday before the Giants lost to the Oakland A's in Cactus League play, 23-5.

Full story.
I never had the, erm, privilege of enjoying a game at Candlestick Park. Did anyone here ever frequent the old Stick?
