SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- The San Francisco Giants will bring more Spring Training action to their fans for the second straight season, when 16 games will be audiocast on sfgiants.com, the club announced today. These 16 games, which will be most of the weekday contests from the Cactus League in Arizona, will supplement 15 games which will be carried by KNBR radio and the Giants radio network.

Doug Greenwald, the voice of the Fresno Grizzlies and son of former Giants broadcaster Hank, will bring the play-by-play action to the fans over the sfgiants.com airwaves. Entering his 12th season of broadcasting professional baseball, he returns to Fresno for his fifth year. The Boston University graduate began his broadcasting career in 1996 with the Bend Bandits of the Western Baseball League and has also called games for the West Oahu CaneFires (1996-97) of the Hawaii Winter Baseball League, Burlington Bees (1997), Bayou Bullfrogs (1998), Stockton Ports (1999), Shreveport Captains/Swamp Dragons (2000-01) and Modesto Athletics (2002).

These audiocasts can be accessed through MLB.com Gameday Audio on sfgiants.com. For a fee of $14.95, fans may listen to these special Spring Training audiocasts as well as all regular season games, with a choice of home or away feeds during the regular season.
