One year, before the HR explosions, Barry was the weekly guest with the Razor and Mr. T. on KNBR radio. Until that year I was non-commmittal on Bonds. I thought of him kind of like Pay Rod, lots of salary, not many hits at critical times. Barry won me over that year on the radio. He always expressed how much he wanted the Giants to win. He always said what I wanted to hear. I have been a Giant Barry fan since.
