Sanchez wins debut as starter in Cincy
CINCINNATI -- Giants rookie pitcher Jonathan Sanchez, in his Major League debut as a starter, allowed only three hits and struck out seven over 5 2/3 innings, while Ray Durham cracked two homers in San Francisco's 3-2 victory over Cincinnati on Wednesday at Great American Ball Park.
The Giants took the series, 2-1, and have won five of their last seven games.
